The Sanuril Tablet Feeder Model 100 is a complete one-piece chlorination system designed for disinfecting the total flow of treated wastewater from any sewage treatment plant with a daily capacity of up to 10,000 gallons and a peak flow rate of 6.94 GPM.
The Model 100 Tablet Feeder has no moving parts. It is manufactured of low linear, medium density, UV stabilized rotomolded polyethylene for durability and resistance to corrosion. Each unit is equipped with two removable PVC feed tubes in which the SANURIL tablets are contained. The tubes are inserted down through the removable top cover of the feeder into the stream of wastewater. The lower end of each tube is slotted to permit free flow of water through the tubes to assure good contact between the water and disinfectant tablets. A baffle is installed at the inlet end and the outlet end is equipped with a fixed one-inch v-notch weir for proper water velocity and flow.
The entire Model 100 assembly is compact and is easy to handle. Overall it measures approximately 21 inches long, 9-1/2 inches wide and 8 inches deep. The feed tubes are 24 inches long and have an outside diameter of 3-1/2 inches. Each tube holds approximately 29 Sanuril tablets; each tablet 2-5/8 inches in diameter and 13/16 of an inch in thickness.
